Japan invests in new LPG storage technology to ensure energy security

In the context of the world facing many fluctuations in energy supply, Japan is stepping up investment in LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) storage technologies advanced to strengthen national energy security and ensure stable supply for domestic industry.

According to Nikkei AsiaThe Japanese government and major energy corporations are cooperating to implement large-scale LPG storage project chain in many areas, including strategic ports in Yamaguchi, Hiroshima and Hokkaido. The goal of the program is Double the national LPG storage capacity within the next 5 years, and simultaneously apply automation technology and digital monitoring to improve operational efficiency and safety.
