🔥 Quickly check 7 principles when transporting gas during the rainy season - avoid unnecessary fire and explosion accidents!

🔥 Quick check of 7 principles when transporting gas in the rainy season - avoid unnecessary fire and explosion accidents!

The rainy season always poses many risks when transporting LPG (liquefied petroleum gas). Slippery roads, limited visibility, high humidity… just a small mistake can lead to a serious incident.
👉 To ensure absolute safety for operators, goods and the community, HES shares 7 golden rules following:

✅ 1. Always check your equipment carefully before setting off.

  • Make sure the valve is tight and leak-free.

  • Check pressure gauge, seals fully.

  • Only transport gas cylinders with intact labels and undamaged shells.

✅ 2. Cover and secure the gas cylinder securely.

  • Use specialized straps to avoid shifting when the vehicle brakes suddenly.

  • Cover with tarpaulin or awning to prevent rain from wetting the valve or warning label.

✅ 3. Choose the right vehicle, load according to regulations

  • Transport vehicles must meet fire safety standards.

  • Do not carry more gas than allowed.

✅ 4. Drive slowly, keep a safe distance

  • Be especially careful when crossing slippery bridges, steep or flooded roads.

  • Do not brake suddenly or turn suddenly.

✅ 5. Absolutely no smoking, no use of fire

  • When loading or transporting gas, any heat source or spark can cause fire or explosion.

✅ 6. Bring fire fighting equipment and warning signs

  • Portable fire extinguishers and “Flammable and Explosive” warning signs must always be present on the vehicle.

✅ 7. Do not transport gas with chemicals or other flammable goods.

  • Avoid any dangerous interactions in the same space.
